Allowing customers to download digital media purchases and those purchases only

Allowing customers to download digital media purchases and those purchases only after checkout from paypal-i have got the system returning to my download page at this point but i need to ensure the paying customers can only download their purchased products and those products only, at this point i am not sure how to let them download at all.
I have developed my whole site using flash cs5 so if anybody can offer advice on this situation with the knowledge that i will have to intergrate into my site using flash cs5 it would be very much appreciated, thank you, rob tweed.

Well, I can't speak for Flash sites (I hope there's some HTML in there somewhere) but there are various ways to offer download links to purchasers. There are other carts than PayPal that do this nicely, like FastSpring, but there are some little packages you can buy and install yourself to go with PayPal. I've used LinkLok before, and it's simple to set up and works really well. The download links that are generated prevent anyone from finding out where the files are stored, so people can't download your products without paying first.

You can add a unique ID for each downloadable order item and after the purchase send a notification to customers with the link with this ID.
If it is too complicated, you can search for the ready module or shopping cart solution.
