    Mac Web Servers

I am doing a project for school, and what they are asking me for requires me to use a Mac computer. Now, I know Mac OS X has Apache configured to work on a Mac interface, but I am not sure how they are going to handle the cost of the program. Not sure if it's k (lol)

Now, what I wanted to know is if there are any of you out there who know of a free (open source) web server that will work on a Mac layout...

    Thanx Guys

I know it was developed to do so with OS X, but generally speaking, downloading it from apache.org won't work (will it)???!!!

yes! If you download the OS X version of course. And you can get it precompiled, or as source code, version 1.3 or version 2! Imagine that. All you have to do is look! Here are all the Mac Binaries.....http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/macosx/
