    Where to get free images?

I trying to design my website. How and where do I get free images that I can use for my website?

The best I found was this http://www.freedigitalphotos.net/ some of the images there are good but I'm still looking for more.

    please post any suggestions below.

Hi Cheater. You can use google images but in the advance option you need to select "for commerial use with modification" as this will protect you from legal issues.

You can just google the required images rather than searching for a particular sites..
Can search the images according to your site design. thats the easier way i think so

Have you considered your own camera as a source of images?

I would recommend sxc.hu as well. They've got tons of free to use images for commercial and private use. I use them a lot in my work.

Getty images are a good source but do read their Terms & conditions of use

One I find useful is MorgueFile.com , don't let the name put you off lol!
a 'morgue file' is what photographers call their collection of unsed images.

I collect free pictures from site www.sxc.hu. With every picture you have written autor rights for every picture and what you can do with it. In most cases you can use those pictures for your sites which you cant sell later because it is against the rules.

Searching Google images has a high % of free images. Although some of the stock images are quite cheap.
