    Forcing *.js Updates

    Hi There,

Having a small problem in making sure the *.js files are kept up-to-date on the client.

Obviously under normal circumstance we went the benefit of not having to download it, but when changes are made we need the user to download a new copy.

Is there any way to do this?

    Cheers,

    Dale

Is this *.js is a part of your html template or it's just a link on the site?

Some pages have a script tag that includes a local .js file which provides some specific scripts for the page. When I change the .js file on the server the browser doesn't appear to reload it since it already has an old copy locally.
