    Spaces in phrased hyperlinks

I am creating a site in Dreamweaver and am having a hyperlink issue....

The content of the site contains alot of text links made up of two words sometimes three,....(i.e. click here or this is the link....

Sometimes the link (which is styled in CSS to be underlined) will underline the entire phrase with no spaces between the underline (between each word) and other times, the underline is broken up by the word seperations....

I want it the phrase to be fully underlined w/no broken spaces, any ideas??

I'm not sure why this is happening...I first thought it was b/c the text was justified, causing the sporadic spacing, but the original site for which I am designing this new one, has seemed to work fine on all links.....

Do you have a link to a dodgy page and the .css file?

check that in the html, a single <a> tag is used for the full phrase. eg.

    <a href="yourpage.htm">underlined text</a>

    and not

    <a href="yourpage.htm">underlined</a> <a href="yourpage.htm">text</a>

    cheers

hmmm, so you say you WANT it to be fully underlined or not?
(I think I read the question right)

    Code:
    <a href="yourpage.htm">underlined </a><a href="yourpage.htm">text</a>
    should do it
