Not sure, if this kind of questions are asked in this forum.
But Still I am asking with the hope that I might get some ideas if in case anyone replies

Actually I am asked to write a white paper on 'Next Generation Vulnerability Assessment'
I need to get some ideas on this concept.

Anybody's effort in answering will be well appreciated.

Try Glass Box Testing. A new hybrid method combining the advantages of white box and black box testing.
It is starting to pick up in the vulnerability assessment world and new products are out using this methodology.
There might be other terms except of glass box testing.
