    Death to <ul> indentation

    Silly little problem, which I can't seem to find the answer for:

    How do I get my <ul>'s to NOT indent the initial bullets?

    Code:
    ul {
    	margin: 0px;
    	list-style-position: inside;
    }
    that should do the trick

    You'll also have to add 'padding:0px;' if you want it to work in mozilla and netscape 6/7

    cheers

    This thread appeared at just the right time

    I'm having trouble getting my lists to do what I want, even using the techniques above. I've finally got them to do what I'm after in IE5.5/win and Moz 1.1, but in Opera 6 they just don't budge. The code I've used isn't the same as the stuff above, but Opera hasn't really moved them much no matter what I've tried.

    At the moment I'm using this CSS:

    Code:
    div.right-box {
    	padding: 3px 3px 3px 6px;
    	border: 1px solid #000;
    	margin: 0px 5px 10px 3px;
    	background-color: #e6eef7;
    	}

    #right-panel ol {
    	margin:_0px 0px 0px 0px;
    	padding: 0px 0px 0px 2em;
    	text-indent: 0em;
    	}
    and some XHTML:

    Code:
    <div class="right-panel">
    <div class="right-box-top"><span class="box-icon"><img src="threads_icon.gif" alt="Guide Icon" title="Guide Icon" /></span><h1>Last 5 Routes</h1></div>
    <div class="right-box">
    	<ol>
    		<li><a href="a.htm">Brain Drain</a> <span class="date">(Font 7B)</span></li>
    		<li><a href="">Nick Tait</a> <span class="date">(E1)</span></li>
    		<li><a href="">Happy Birthday Mr President</a> <span class="date">(Font 7C)</span></li>
    		<li><a href="b.htm">Lookin Down a Barrel</a> <span class="date">(Font 6C)</span></li>
    		<li><a href="poo.htm">Brains, Shoulders, Knees and Toes</a> <span class="date">(Font 6A)</span></li>
    	</ol>
    </div>
    </div>
    Am I missing something obvious?
