    Form problem

    I'm trying to put a form in the blue table near the bottom of the attatched screenshot. Not a massive problem in itself, however it is causing the table to be much taller than I need it to be. It should have the same amount of pixels below the content as above, but the form is making it bigger. What can I do?

    Thanks a lot.

    Can you not just put a cell above and below and specify their heights... then position the form in the middle of the cell it is in?

    No, because that doesn't shrink the cell where the form is, it just makes its surroundings bigger.

    Why not set the margins of your form to 0 or whatever you need in a stylesheet or in the form tag itself:

    <form style="margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px">

    Usually it does that to me when I put the form inside a table like <table><form></form></table> If I do it in reverse, it seems to reduce the problem <form><table></table></form>
