    CSS causing 404 Errors

    I've been looking at some very strange log files for the past couple of days. At first I had a website that was receiving more 404 errors than hits to the main page. But we were never ever able to get replicate those errors here in our office or at home.

    After looking at the log file I realized that the webpage was looking for the file /_css/nothing
    Code:
    80 GET /_inc/404.asp 404;http://www.restore-a-floor.com/_css/nothing
    Note: The domain name doesn't matter.

    I've taken a look at my code I can't find were the Browser is looking for this file. Here's the code:
    Code:
    <link href="/_css/netscape.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet">
    <STYLE TYPE="text/css">
    <!--
    @import url(/_css/miracle.css);
    a { color: #1A00FF; }
    ----Code Removed for Space ---------------------------------
    .red { color: #f00; }
    .redbold { color: #f00; font-weight: bold; }
    -->
    </STYLE>
    It's a pretty complex CSS stystem we use, but I can't figure out why the pages are always requesting the file: /_css/nothing. I put in a file called "nothing" into the /_css/ folder to try and catch the 404's with but it's not the solution I'm looking for.

    Does anybody have any idea why my site keeps looking for /_css/nothing?

    I took a look at your miracle.css stylesheet, and I think I found the problem.

    background-image: url(nothing)
    That section of code is making it look for a file called "nothing" to use as a background image. Try using "background-image : none;" instead.
