    Remove menu/toolbar

    Hi,

This is quite a tricky thing to both describe and do (I've got close but not close enough).

I have an intranet application that I want to open in a browser without the toolbar and menu bar (there is a good reasons for this which I wont go into) The users open the app by typing the application name into the address area in the browser. It's this point that I want it to remove the menu/toolbars.

My version uses the initial index.html file to open a popup window without bars on and close the current window. The problem with this is that it prompts you to whether you want to close the window.

If anyone has any ideas on this it would be much appreciated, I've been looking at it as a sideline task for the last 3 days.

Well, since this is an intranet setting, this little hack might be useful to you.
