    Question file uploader

    Hi guys!
    I've been having some trouble with a file uploader script, the script times out when running, I have tried extending the default timeout length. I have also tried a couple of other file upload scripts and thay all time out too. I can't seem to find a cause to the problem. I have a second server and it runs beautifully!
    If anyone has any ideas or solutions, I'd b grateful!

    thnx!!

    Could the default session length be too short on one of the servers? You can set a session's timeout like this:

    Code:
    Session.Timeout = 20   '# that's minutes

    Thats the session timeout, which won't be the problem. What will be is the scripttimeout property of the server collection. This is define in secondsand can be accessed like this:

    [vbs]
    Server.ScriptTimeOut = X_seconds
    [/vbs]

    how big is the file you are uploading? i think there is an IIS setting somewhere that controls how big of a request IIS will accept. can't rememember for sure. but that might be something to consider. another idea might be antivirus software blocking the file.

    Question

    Hi guys!

    I had already tried extending the timeout settings, but I still get the same problem. The thing is it works fine on the other pc, as for the antivirus suggestion, I disabled Norton and run the script, it still timed out.
    Any other ideas or suggestions would be great. I am truly stumped on this one!

    thnx!
