    use moshe

    <font color="E8D6AE">
    <SPAN id="moshe1" name="moshe1">what you want to appear when page opens</SPAN>
    is the html code in the form where you want the text to appear

    and
    var description1="show the description"

    and the function output goes....
    document.all.moshe1.innerText=description1

    note for beginners.....description1 is a variable, and can be written in any form ie; desc1, picdetail1 etc

    maybe I should try and clarify what I mean:

    There are 2 pages -
    pageA has a table full of pictures - each picture has a name underneath it
    pageB is a form that users must fill out - one of the options is to input the url of the picture you want to use

    what I want to do - when a user clicks on a picture name on pageA the url to that picture gets placed into the form field on pageB

    thanks
    i hope someone can help me soon
