    BG-Img will not display on-line, only locally

    Hi all, Running IE5.1 on a Mac PPC G3, my style sheets display perfectly everything I ask when viewed locally in the browser.
    Even after uploading current veresions of every file, the background image specified in the style sheet does not display on line.

    body {
    background-image: url(hatchbg.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat;
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    The image itself was created in ImageReady, using the Filter/Other/Tile feature as described in the Help section for background images. Is the problem in the image itself?

    All thoughts welcome!
    thanks
    olivia

    I doubt the problem is the file itself... just check that your path is correct, and that the file actually exists (sounds silly I know, but sometimes I forget to upload images!).

    Do you have an online version of the page that we can view to see if we can spot the problem?

    http://www.sutryn.com/

    thanks

    the back ground should be patterned, with text and images over top of it.

    I use a linked style sheet, so if you think the problem is there let me know and i can post it for view if need be. First post includes relevant (to me) section.

    thanks again
