How do you do video marketing? Is there a software involved?

Video marketing, very simply, means creating online videos to promote your site/products/services, and hoping they become popular on YouTube. You will need software to create videos, but if you've got a video camera then you will probably already have that, at least in a basic form.

I submitted a 5+ minutes video to Youtube this March, and left a link of my blog in the description, after that I did some promotion work to raise the video's popularity, and until now I have got more than 20,000 traffic from the video in last 5 months. So I think just like other people said, Youtube is a good way to generate traffic, needn't to do much work and can get lots of traffic.

Yeah there is an important fact that if you want to promote your site by YouTube video then it is like a secondary promotion; but the fact you have to promote your YouTube video link; then why people usually do follow this tactics the fact is through the youtube video the competition become less. ANyway I don't really like this tactic. However, if the video is more similar to the content of your site then it is better.

I have heard many success stories, but personally i have never eally tried it. I guess, i will have to study a little about it as I have read that google simply love the videos..

well, referring from experience, yes it works and it creates a lot of traffic then.Firstly, because video marketing is a nice way to get the attention of the viewer most especially if your production has a nice output.So it is really a good way to create traffic to your site.
