    JavaScript debugger

Any one know of a good JavaScript debugger I can use. A free one, even if it's a trial version. Want to do some testing.

    Sure, I can do that.

All I require are warm meals, a soft bed, and a computer with and internet connection and Jedi Knight II. I'm housebroken and polite, and can certainly perform the required task of 'Javascript debugger'.

Ok, seriously. I haven't ever really seen any javascript debuggers. Sorry

Go grab a copy of Mozilla 1.1 from www.mozilla.org and check out the Venkman JS Debugger that comes with it.

The O'Reilly book, Javascript The Definitive Guide 3rd edition by David Flanagan, lists links from Microsoft and Netscape.

I got both to work in older versions of the browsers but failed in my last attempt with NS6 and IE6. One trick for IE is to turn on the debugging option.

    The links are:
    Netscape debugger
    Microsoft debugger

I haven't checked these links in a while. The Netscape link might still be good and there debugger was worthwhile. I assume Microsoft chnaged their site and the link is bad. Their debugger seemed only a token effort (because Netscape had one ).

Good luck. I miss having a good debugger.
