who is online script

i was wondering if the following is possible:

a script that would show how many people were online at the time the page was loaded.

i dont know javascript but i know that is about as flexible as a gymnast.

Not flexible enough for what you ask. Such a task requires something server-side such as PHP, Perl, ASP, Java, or ColdFusion.
