    Disable a script until loaded?

Is there a way to disable a script (preferably not have it show up) until it's fully loaded? Or to have the script load fully *before* the page shows up?

I have a dhtml menu that looks & works great except that if a visitor doesn't wait for the page to finish loading and tries to use the menu, it breaks

This is the menu script I mean:

It only stops working if the visitor tries to open the side menu before the page is loaded fully. (There should be submenu's that pop open.)

To solve the problem temporarily I've changed it so that if they have javascript off, or the page hadn't fully loaded, they are sent to a page that lists the menu links in plain html.

Not a very graceful fix, but the best I could come up with for now. I'm still hoping to find a way to get it to load fully before it shows up.

I've actually ran across another problem with it... it uses:
body onLoad="setbrowser();" I've now found out that some pop up stoppers turn off any onLoad commands
Is there a different way to call that?
