We just joined Google+ not long ago, I actually quite like it, it's something different I guess.
The mobile App is really nice too, I like it.

I was intrigued at first, but quickly lost interest. I am not saying that it will not have the power to compete with Facebook, but it certainly looks like it has a long way to go.

The proposed Facebook changes along with all the other recent (and some what controversial) changes may give Google + some momentum, but like you, I wasn't terrifically impressed. Unless my friends make the move, I don't see myself as a regular user. Right now, I think it's too little, too late.

The way that Google have started integrating Plus with the other services they provide should soon mean that everyone has a plus account whether they want to use it for social networking or not.

I agree... I am not sure why they are telling that they need invites to join googleplus where in fact I don't register for it but still have an account. Maybe because I have a gmail account...

Thanks for the thoughts... Any guesses on how big it will grow to be or what the focus will be [professional, personal, a blend, etc]?

"how big" can be anything between shutdown and a billion users. But the circles' concept is perfect for combined private/business use and will be surely adopted by many other networks (as FB already did).

i think Google + have more reliable features then Facebook, but it can goes under testing condition. face book can be very popular now a these days. so there is a lot of competition can begin next few days between Facebook an Google + .

Overall I think Google+ is a pretty good channel, I can see the benefit from it for sure. I would advise all to jump on and sign up if you have not yet already done so.

A dislike button would be great in Facebook, but it doesn't seem like there are any plans to add an official one anytime soon. There have been some scam fake dislike apps floating around though. From a business perspective, it would be nice to receive feedback from followers if they disliked a news item or promotion you posted.

But from a social perspective, maybe it would be too negative to have a button like that. I know I would send dislikes to friends who have to tell me everything mudane detail of their life...where they're eating, that they have a headache, that they hate traffic, that the woman in front of them at the grocery store check-out is taking too long....

I think itís too early to rate it, G+ has the feature of FB and twitter combined. Chances are that it was just making its way up since already millions of user got interested even during the testing period.

Just registered at Google+ a few hours ago.
I found it much better than FaceBook and in some area better than LinkedIn too. It is also very easy to get started and used to it.

Personally i don't like Google + more. Am still using facebook and feel more comfortable while using it. I can easily create groups , fan pages and adds etc and am also getting a good amount of traffic easily. Am not very much impressed by Google +. Facebook is better ans still the best.
    Thanks
