where can I buy targeted traffic for $25? besides PPC's?

    Hi,

anyone knows where can I buy targeted traffic, for a shopping website, for about $25, besides PPC's?

I'm looking for a place that can accept PayPal,

Look for small newsletters that fit your target market and you may be able to purchase some add space. Even if $25 is not enough to buy an add outright, if you run any newsletters your self you may be able to use the cash and an add swap to better leverage your resources.

Advertise on community sites that have a target audience that would be interested in your product. For example, I'm building a new community site directed at coin collectors. Not now, but when/if the community has enough activity, I'm sure that companies selling coins and other products that would be of interest to my community would be willing to pay for advertising on the site. I've also approached owners of community sites to ask for advertising space on their forums. SitePoint sells advertising here to a lot of companies who believe that the SitePoint community would be interested in their products.

Support community websites by advertising with them!

BTW, the newsletters idea is great too, I would have said that if someone else didn't beat me to it.

Get targeted traffic for Less than $25

Newsletters are a great idea, however you may want to try
writing articles for those newsletters first - costs you
nothing, and even if you hit on 1 in 10, can mean tens of
thousands of prospects with their eyes on your link for
    next to nothing.

Also - if you start an affiliate program, approach newsletter
publishers with joint venture offers - you run my ad and I will give
you an "extra special" deal by providing 5-10% more commission
    than you would normally give.

    Cheers...

I think you'd want to target which newsletters and community sites you'd want to advertise on first, then ask them if they take Paypal. I guess it would depend on what market you're looking at, but if it's a narrow market you probably won't have many *good* ones to select from.

Depending on the rules of the sites, you can always post a message in a popular forum asking for people running popular newsletters/sites taking Paypal to contact you, thus making it easier.

Easiest way to come up with some quickly.

    - Do a google search for newsletters on the subject
    - Go to www.webring.org and look for webrings relating to that topic and visit the sites in the ring to find ones that have newsletters.
    - Find group at groups.yahoo.com that relate to your intended subject and ask people what newsletters they subscribe to.
