True...plus it's all rather shady anyway...

In my opinion there is no benefit in buying followers and fans because in this way you don’t get potential users. For twitter there are various tools available for increasing the followers of your profile but they are not quality users and basically it happens that when you follow them, in turn they follow you back and in this way followers increase. But this is of no benefit as you are just increasing the fan following but not getting the targeted traffic.

Rather than wasting time on finding out the tools just concentrate on the quality of content you are posting on the social media networks and when your content appeals the users you automatically get traffic as well as increase in fan following.

I have hundreds of friends and followers on facebook and tweeter but I am unable to improve my business because they never likes my fan page. I think this whole thing is just waste of time.

I would suggest you look up people to follow on Twitter and Like on Facebook. People who you follow/like tend to follow/like you back. About 1/3 of the people I follow on Twitter follow me back, so think about that if you are want a certain number of followers!

You should target people in your target market of customers, so they can see what your doing. Also, add people/businesses who are well known in your area so you have a links to credible information.

Also, tweet/post regularly with information which is interesting. It is important you look like your know your area of business in order to keep people interested.

Thanks, I will apply that. Well using Facebook and twitter for marketing can't be done overnight, it takes time, patience and effort before it will bear its sweetest fruit. That's the lesson I've learn on this

It takes time to build up a following in social media, if you want them to stay. I have 3 pieces of advice:
    1. Create valuable content
    2. skip to 3.
    3. Always remember 1.

    I've heard also about youlikehits.
But, to be honest, I don't understand why people want to have so many fictional likes/ followers...

if your target is just to increase likes and followers then use twiends, if your target is to promote your business among the people which you consider is going to be your future customer, brings your followers and like manually. spending a time regularly is the only option you have to get results.

There are many groups in LinkedIn where you can promote your FB page and Twitter, but it's very time-consuming as you have to also like other people's pages and communicate somehow.

Also your can use FB ads for promoting and liking your page - here depending on your niche you can choose more or less targeted likes and there is a possibility that people will stay active in your group.

Getting the fans from tools will not add any value to your fan page. Having good and relavent content is the way to go. Think about it what makes you click on a story from your facebook feeds and try to come up with that type of content to attract users.

Twitter snooze, Twitterless, Friend and follow and Tweepler are some additional tools that I might add to your list of twitter follow/follower tools.

I suggest you to build a page with value and expose it to your users online or off depending on your business.Use promotional campaign and start driving traffic also make use of Social Networking Sites and post, comment or update your Facebook fan page and since Facebook can be connected with Twitter, your friends in Facebook who also have Twitter may follow you..

There are multiple tool to get the user for the fanpage. But as i myself have used the same i got hundreds of likes in a day for my Facebook fanpage but it. I was using twinds.com for the same. But after some day i found that my likes are reducing day by day. Then i stoped to use these automatic tools and now i just use manual ways for the same. It's very time consuming but it works.

You can look for people who have the #followback tags, you'll get quick followers that can help you branch out to get more. Otherwise, a lot of sites like "twiends" and such, can get your account banned and you'll usually lose your followers fast anyways. As they'll "follow" for seeds or what not, then unfollow later.

Best way to get followers is through your blog/website, these are interested users that WILL convert on your offers, not spam/junk and useless.

Followers we are getting from the twiend are relevant or just increasing the number of followers? if it only increasing the numbers then i think there is no benefit of such tolls.
