    Forms in Dreamweaver

I've just started delving into Dreamweaver 4 after years of using FrontPage, is there an "easy" way to configure forms to work-without knowing cgi and perl? FP 2000 always did this dirty work with its extensions etc... I know you can download free cgi scripts to adapt to forms-but I have no idea how to modify them for my particular forms.

    Thanks,

    William

As far as I know, I don't think there is...

I've always had to use the FormMail.pl to do all that (that was until I was introduced into the wonderful world of PHP)

There should be plenty of customisable form mail scripts I imagine, so if you have access to a server that has cgi available, check at hotscripts.com

The configuring should be pretty easy to do in any text editor, most scripts I imagine are commented pretty well...

If you find one and you have trouble with it, post back here and we'll try help you manage it

Thanks Wizardx8, I'm going to look around for some scripts...
