    <div> placement in FF vs IE

    I'm a mostly backend developer who is struggling with some placement and style issues in a page I'm making.

    The main issue is a div on the index page that is intended to fill out the middle column and also take up the space below the left column - class="twoarcs" . The top left column is the nav bar.

    My problem is that if you look at it in IE, the .twoarcs div drop below the wrapper div, even though they fit perfectly in Firefox.

    I'm not very experienced in cross-browser issues. Can anyone duggest what I can do to fix it in IE without messing it up in FF???

    You should try to avoid working with a fixed height (#container{height: 750px;}, instead use for example overflow hidden. That way the container will adjust to the content it needs to hold!
