Use a spade... it's angrier than a club.

Actually, come to think of it... I HTML could be read as "I slice HTML" - kinda cute.

Talking about being distracted, your banana-dancing icon makes it very distracting reading your posts

Well, ulthane I am glad you found some inspiration from the multitude of designs. Hopefully learning something new about what can be achieved with simple CSS and Markup and some creativity and patience when you looked through the lists.

LOL thats what I told myself I would do if I didn't win, but I wanted to add a black heart icon.

I hadn't considered it before now, but now you mention it I'll give it some thought. My next fun project!

We'll send you the critique Ryan when we can arrange the spare time for another Judge meeting, we haven't forgotten you. As you can see I am busy training Ken in Mentor duties at the moment and the other guys are swamped in work too. So it might take a week or more.

    Thanks

I just looked through the entries, I can only echo what has been said. Congrats to winners and everyone that entered! I know I enjoyed it and learned a lot too. I appreciate the opportunity, thanks to the organizers.

I too, am open to any critiques. I will be looking more closely at the entries and learning much, I am sure.

Here is my site with the fonts working: T-cat's entry.

Better than a critique (imo) would maybe be a score-card showing how you scored our sites based on judging criteria? Would be easier to put together and send out (since you already have it), no?

We'll have to see but at the moment some of guys are completely snowed under with extra heavy work burdens in real-life. I think one has some important family commitments meaning they cannot be online much for the next two weeks. My access keys for the server were temporally only. Though like I said we'll see what we can do in due course.

Tina, yes I see what you mean about the fonts not really functioning correctly before that explains why those tiny 'sea creatures' didn't appear.

We liked the novelty factor and minimalism of your design Simon, very 'retro' (I know it was only a 'beta version' and only tested for Opera). As you can see from the responses people enjoyed viewing your entry.
