    Exclamation Netscape 7.0 out

    Netscape 7.0 is offically out now...

    if you don't mind the AOL crap that comes with it.

    Checked it out.

    Much better than PR1. Looking quite Mozillish (thankfully!).

    Littered the desktop, start menu, and quick launch with icons in true AOL fashion. Then started up Navigator and AIM automatically on restart! eeek! Hopefully it won't do that every time. I Regedited it just in case.

    Even the Mouse Gestures work! Very cool - wasn't sure if they worked in PR1 or not.

    NS7 also recognizes the <marquee> tag - for what it's worth - but kinda interesting.

    It's based on Mozilla 1.01, which interestingly has not been released.

    That is because Netscape is on a slightly different production branch then the Mozilla that AOL releases under the Open Source program.
