    Access Control

    Hi,

A quick question, I have implemented Kevin's access control PHP/MySQL script on a site, but the problem I have is that everytime I go to the page I have to type the user id and password in from scratch, how do I get it so that it comes up already filled in as some do and how I give someone the option for it to not do that if the computer is perhaps a shared one?

Also is there any way that you can make the cookie persistant so that it will automatically log you back in with out having to go through the login page at all? Which is obviously fine security wise if it is from your home computer and again would their be a way of making this optional in case you are using a shared computer?

Thanks for any help as always
    Ian

That's becuase sessions get destroyed when you close the window.

You would want to use cookies to keep them logged in more than one visit.
