I have been trying to figure this out... I want to be able to load an swfobject within a ajaxcall, but doesnt seem to work?!?

This is what I got:
On my mainpage:
Code JavaScript:
function ajload(url, target) {
  document.getElementById(target).innerHTML = '<img src="images/player/2011/ajax-loader-2.gif">';
  if (window.XMLHttpRequest) {
	req = new XMLHttpRequest();
  } else if (window.ActiveXObject) {
	req = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");
  if (req != undefined) {
	req.onreadystatechange = function() {ajloadDone(url, target);};
	req.open("GET", url, true);
function ajloadDone(url, target) {
  if (req.readyState == 4) { // only if req is "loaded"
	if (req.status == 200) { // only if "OK"
	  document.getElementById(target).innerHTML = req.responseText;
	} else {
	  document.getElementById(target).innerHTML=" ajload Error:\n"+ req.status + "\n" +req.statusText;
function load(name, div) {
	return false;

Then I try to call the object like this:
Code HTML4Strict:
<a href="" onclick="load('flvplayer.php', 'contentarea');return false;">Player</a>
<div id="contentarea"></div>

And on my playerpage (flvplayer.php) I have this:
Code HTML4Strict:
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/swfobject.js"></script>
<div id="player"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
   var player = new SWFObject("player.swf", "player", "480", "330", "8", "#FFFFFF", true);

What do I do wrong?

Thanks in advance :-)
