    Question Super Trafficology?

I know this question has been discussed before, but I would just like to know wether it is worth signing up for a 3 month trial of Super Trafficology!
The discussions that went on about this subject before are now pretty dated and the opinions given may have changed.
I'm just making sure that if I do subscribe for 3 months that it is money well spent!

I never signed up for "Super..." but regular trafficology hasn't been sent out in months, and before that it was really bad ever since he introduced "Super..."

They have changed the format. Now its a content driven newsletter and not a monthly. So basically they send out the newsletter when they have enough content to fill a newsletter.

As for Super Trafficology its nothing but a bunch things that get you extra hits (at least it used to be). Sign up for this and get 1000 visitors, PPC search engines offering free traffic, and things of this nature. Once in a while there is a decent article. I’m not sure how often the “Super” one is published either.

Which is ... pretty much never. I haven't received an issue in months and months. And I have to agree that the tips were rarely groundbreaking or helpful: most of them entailed painting my logo on the side of a van and parking it in a busy intersection.

I signed up about a month or so ago and never got a single issue... And here I was thinking that they may not have recorded my email address...

The last issue came out 7/20/02 when he announced the "wheneverly" schedule.

On a lark, and out of curiousity I bought one of his products, the "Side Tracking" product and was utterly dissapointed. I realize it has a money back offer, but I decided to accept the loss to remind me why I don't buy stuff like that in the first place. What can I say, I was hopeful.

I like Trafficolgy okay - It's not fantastic or great but you sometimes get a nugget of info or an idea you can build into something useful.

I've gotten the free samples before of Super that he sends out from time to time and they are better. More content and you get them before the freebie people get theirs. But more of "okay" is just .. okay.

The ideas are more geared towards the gimmick side of traffic and not the real lasting techniques you would want to use. Some of the ideas are good for a quick boost which is never bad.

Try reading many of the free marketing ezines out there. There are some really good ones. I personally have not paid for "premium" marketing tips.

If it's a good tip, you can be sure it'll either be kept really tight lipped OR the rest of the good marketing ezines will report it.

I personally was a "Super..." subscriber for three months and didn't feel that the price was justified compared to the content. I used to be a faithful reader of the regular Trafficology, so I figured that the enhanced version would be even better. Unfortunately I was sorely disappointed by it.

When the guy who runs it let his domain name expire, I sorta lost confidence in the whole operation.

It may be just me..but I've looked at Jay Levinson's books before and thought they were pretty much worthless. They don't seem to give you any ideas that tell you how, just some suggestions on what to do. I know that much already..

Try as I might, I just can't understand why this fellow gets so much praise from the web industry. Its not as if his work is revolutionary by any means.

It's a little OT, but if you're looking for a good web marketing book, get hold of "The Unofficial Guide to Marketing your Business Online". Lots of great tips and suggestions to get you thinking!!

For what it is worth, I may be the only happy super trafficology subscriber - so I'll put my hand up to support it. I've always found the information to be cutting edge. While I don't think you'll build a solid online business from any of the tips, they can give you a good traffic spike.

    Just may 2 cents worth
