    Pre-loaded content

    Alright, I'm planning on using an iFrame (I haven't used frames before so I know nothing of them either), and I am going to have several sections on my site.

    When a user clicks on a different section, I don't want the whole page to reload to display the new section in the iFrame, but rather have all the sections preloaded somehow so when they click on the different section, the content in the iFrame will change to that section, rather than having the whole page reload.

    Sorry, I haven't used frames before so this may be an incredibly dumb question. Any help would be appreciated.

    <iframe SRC="main.htm" NAME="content" width="xx" height="xx" frameborder="x"></iframe>

    The SRC is what will BE displayed in the iframe when the page first loads. The NAME is the part you need for your links. An example of a link you will use:
    <a href="pages/news.htm" TARGET="content">::News:/a>

    In your links you just add the TARGET="content" and they will be displayed in that IFRAME. You dont have to use content as the name.. it can be anything.

    Examples of this:
    <My Site
    <My Portfolio
    Both use IFRAMEs the same way.

    Good luck.
