Anyone had any good or bad experiences to report while using this host? From what I can see, they look like a pretty reputable company, but $180 lifetime web hosting seems too good to be true. Is there a catch?

simple... when the host runs out of money, they cant afford to host so many accounts, that will be hte last day we hear of the host .. they'll give 1 month notice or something that they're shutting down ..

unless they are making money from other means,etc

I'm not speaking from personal experience, but www.thefreesite.com is happy with their service and has been running there a long time. You should give the webmaster an email and ask for his opinion on it.
