    redirect - avoiding search engine spam

    I am migrating a site that I'm cautious about being considered spam (from meta refresh, etc.)

    Here is what I am doing (url's are on seperate servers, using about 3-4 redirects):
    -a 10 second refresh in the meta tag.
    -changing similiar content by at least 100 characters per similiar-tagged pages.
    -changing keywording and titles.
    -using templates and "robots" content="noindex,follow" for the most similiar page (can these even be indexed, templates?)

    Any recommendations or ideas? Isn't a "doorway" mainly a very fast refresh with key phrases/title?

    Why dont you use an iFrame to put the right page in the wrong place!

    This would avoid the risk of spamming but also get the same effect as a redirect.

    iframe?

    Matthew,

    What's an iframe?(using Frontpage)

    Could the above be spam, do you think?

    Is this the way it is usually done for a redirect(1st post)
    -------------------------
    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <meta name="robots" content="noindex,follow">
    <TITLE>New edirect title of my company</TITLE>
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="10; url=
    http://www.my-new-address.com">

    </HEAD>
