BRB for 3 weeks

Hi all,

Starting the 29th (of this month) I'll be on vacation. I'll get back about August 17. So expect to see not very many posts from me during that time...

I'll be starting off in New Mexico then through AZ to California and up to the redwoods (in case anyone cared).

Of course I'll check my email (spforums@aboutpcs.com) and may pop in #sitepoint once or twice.

Just wanted to let y'all know so you wouldn't think I boycotted SitePoint or anything else crazy like that.

Well I didn't want to start a new topic but I am also going to be away from 29th July for two weeks. I am going on holiday to Minorcan and I wont have access to a computer for 2 weeks. So no e-mail, no SP forums and no SP chat .

What part of New Mexico are you going to be in??

Cool. I'm starting off in Albeqerque (sp?) then down to the Very Large Array (of radio telescopes). Then we're gonna head up to Santa Fe and look in all of the art galleries and the expensive rock shops, then go to Bishop's Lodge (heard of it?) for 3 or 4 days. Then to AZ, CA, etc.

Yeah, I've heard of Bishops lodge. It's supposed to be a pretty nice place, a friend of mine is a waiter at the restaurant there.

The VLA is pretty cool, I went there once and saw it from an airplane once.

I'll take a LOT of pictures of cool stuff like the grand canyon, Fry's, the VLA, etc. and I'll post some when I get back.

Is it s school trip or are you going with your parents?
I ask because my school never took me on any cool trips - We went to Wales.

BTW I will be in a conference from Friday 1st September till Friday 8th September and then on Saturday 9th I am going home for a week to Gibraltar.

I will be checking my mail though! I really don't think I could go away without being able to have access to my email at the very least, I just would not go! <smile>

I also take my phone everywhere abroad.

I sure wish it was a school trip!! But I'm going with my parents and my brother (which isn't bad of course).

Aidan: we were gonna stop in El Paso to see Eric and you but then my brother found out the telescope near you was closed for tours...El Paso would be like 350 miles away...sorry!

And I'm actually leaving tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 6:30 to catch an 9:00 plane. So don't expect any contact from me between 11PM tonight and 2PM tomorrow? Can you live?? (ROFL)

Anyways, I'll take a bunch of cool pics and I'll be sure to go into Fry's and take pictures (they get mad at you :P ) so when I'm done I'll post maybe 500 pictures. I already have 300 online as people in the chat room probably (unfortunately to them) know.
