I have a client that needs some work done with a southwestern color scheme. Does anyone have a link to a pallette I can look at for ideas? It would be great if the hex codes were available but they do not have to be.
No wait I have seen that one. Those are a little too dark, maybe I was thinking of a different name for the color scheme, something with coral, and that bluish green stone, the name escapes me right now.
Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about? Back in the '80's there was a big trend for southwestern design themes in home decor. I used to have a Southwestern bathroom. Those are the colors I have in mind.
I don't know what your bathroom looks like, Palmer! ;-p
Seriously, what you're talking about seems to have more of an island flare, what with coral and aquamarine, 80ish colors. When I think of "Southwest," I think of Texas and the cowpoke/frontier scheme with a wide-brimmed hat and spurs on the boots. When I think of the colors you mentioned, I think of lying in a hammock barefoot under giant palm trees at the beach.
Alas, I am nowhere near a palm tree, a beach or a hammock. :-(
Hiya Palmer. Bluish-green stone, do you mean turquoise?
Sounds like you're talking about more of a Native American kind of color scheme. Sedona, Arizona - that kind of thing. Give me a second and I'll whip-up a little palette and post it here.
