    Apache on Windows 2000

I've been running an Apache server (version 1.3) on Windows 2000 for a year or so with no problems, but last month I attempted to add on a perl module. Big mistake. Now every time I boot up, it tells me to "please recompile with -DEAPI", and things keep going wrong and wrong and wrong...

    How do I compile?

... Come to think of it, is there a complete novice's way of installing php with apache in ONE 'package'? I've spent SO many hours editing the httpd.conf file & I think it might just be better to reinstall a new server.

You might find one of the packages from firepages interesting. You can choose between various packages, including one with Perl added to the webserver -- all packages have PHP if I am not mistaken.
Anyway, it is a great solution if you find yourself having trouble configurating and compiling things on your own.
