I am new to ASP and I hope I am in the right forum
I have a mailing list and everything is ok because I used it on another website but on the current it is giving me the below error

If the code worked fine on another host, then "updateable query" usually means the folder location where the DB file is stored does not have WRITE permission for the user account that runs the ASP code. You'll need to raise this with your web host admin.

You need MODIFY permissions!

Okay, but i don't know how to do it

Trust me - the IUSR_ComputerName account needs to be able to WRITE to the folder in which the database file resides. I've been there and done it and bought the T-shirt.

How to do what thing?

If the server is hosted by someone else, then THEY should already know how to apply WRITE permission to the folder (and the folder contents).
