    Where have my bullets gone?

    OK folks, try pasting this in your HTML editor then preview it. The question is, why has the float:left caused the bullet points to disappear, and is there a way to work around this?

    copy away ...

    <table cellpadding=2 border=1 width=400>
    <tr valign="top">
    <td>
    <div style="background:silver;float:left;">
    div floated left<br>
    div floated left<br>
    div floated left<br>
    div floated left<br>
    div floated left<br>
    div floated left<br>
    </div>
    <ul>
    <li>list item</li>
    <li>list item</li>
    </ul>
    </td>
    <td>
    <div style="background:silver;">
    plain old div<br>
    plain old div<br>
    plain old div<br>
    plain old div<br>
    plain old div<br>
    plain old div<br>
    </div>
    <ul>
    <li>list item</li>
    <li>list item</li>
    </ul>
    </td>
    </tr>

    I don't know, but...

    <div style="background:silver;float:left;margin-right:20px">
    // PS! My brain just hit a bad sector...
