Getting old is such a bad thing
I want to live forever hahaha
Anyway, please all send me some gifts, presents, etc because I am 16 next Saturday, and all I'm getting so far is a new modem from my parents. D'oh!
BTW, the very first computer that I remember using was an Oracle, and I also had an old Amstrad which I remember playing Batman on.

My first computer (or more my dad's..) was a Atari ST 512. But the oldest thing we have on our attic is a Sinclair ZX81 (or was it Spectrum or something like that). It stores it's data on audio cassettes...

I'm still using a Packard Bell 100Mhz pc to connect to the net! It would be sad to wreck a new computer by getting a virus or something, so I play it safe..
But I use another faster and up to date when playing games and making my website's pages and so on.

Man do I hate this topic when it surfaces in these forums. You can probably guess why.

This topic seems familier.
I'm 15. I've been working with HTML for 5 years, JavaScript for 4, Perl for 4 and some other stuff too. So many things to learn, so little time.

I'll be 18 in September. I've only been on the net for the past year and I started learning html about a week after getting online.
I'm just after finishing my exams this week so I am finished school and will be doing a Graphic Design course in college in 2001 after I take a year out to get a quality portfolio done (you need a portfolio to do an art course here in Ireland).

I'm 30...
My first computer was a ZX81 and it cost me £80 (about ?$140) and then I had to pay another £40 to increase the RAM from 1k to 15k.
Then I had a Spectrum, Jet Set Willy - happy days!

I only have a computer with Win98 and internet for 1.5 years.
I got my Win98 stable and learned a lot about the www and web development.
At the moment I'm sick and I HAVE to stay at home of the Doctor. Oh well, I'll get over it. *takes another pill*

Im 13, it doesnt matter at all what your age is in web design but when it comes to pay-for hosting, advertising and working, being over 18 can help alot

I turned 28 today. Oh, my do I feel old looking at all the other posted ages. No wonder the 'first computer' thread seemed like the computers weren't all that old.
No offense, but I thought Wluke was much older
