Hi all - I am looking for a place to download PWS Anyone have any ideas other than www.microsoft.com (which isn't working)? I have Frontpage but don't want to use it and don't like how the FP PWS interacts with other programs... just looking for the straight PWS...

Hi Hundley,

If you have the win98 cd, you'll find PWS on there, in the add on folder. Let me know if you can't find it and i'll tell you the exact location.

If you're running anything above win98 though, i'd recommend IIS - Internet Information Server, which - despite the claims of dodgy security issues - happens to be pretty solid compared to PWS.

I am actually looking to use pws at work to help some internal fokes out and run some sites off of my machine... therefor, I don't have the w98 software... I know I found it out on the web sometime before but after having my pc rebuilt I can't find it anymore...
