    Talking One question, one answer

After a long time of thinking about ASP.NET and PHP, I have come with a decision. I have chosen PHP. Do you want to know why?

I asked my self one question because I have 2 laptops, I said what if the one that has Visual studio installed has crashed and then I needed quickly to write some lines of code! The answer I will use the other laptop, download one of the PHP free editors or write the code in Notepad (so quick solution.)

Do you think I have made the right decision?

I don't think that any right decision can be made, given that only the one criteria does not provide enough information.

Visual Studio is not required to write .NET code. Any text editor will work fine. If you can load Visual Studio on one machine then I don't see why you can't load it on another. Especially the free community editions.
