    upload pictures and files to server

    I really want to know how to upload pictures (not blob) using PHP and MySQL.

    If it were ASP you would use either a third party ASP component such as ASP Upload or the MicroSoft equivalent. I suspect the same is true for PHP (ie: you'll need to buy/find a third party component of some kind in order to do this -- I don't know PHP though so I am guessing -- hopefully someone with more PHP knowledge than me will get back to you.)

    If you're not using BLOBs (which are best avoided anyway), then there is little MySQL in your solution - you merely need to store the location of the stored image on the disk in the relevant field for each upload.
