    Dust-Me Selectors

I've installed Dust-Me Selectors into Firefox to investigate the CSS on my site.

My aim is to find redundant CSS - I want to clear out the rubbish.

The program installs fine. It appears to work on single pages. But I can't spider the entire site. If I try to spider my site map it runs for a few seconds then an image of the site's front page appears in the spider window along with some code.

Is there any official support for the tool?

I don't know about official support, but I found that dust me selectors doesn't play nice with a couple of other add ons. Especially add ons that affect the firefox menu. Try disabling all other add ons and see if it works than. If it does turn them on again one by one to see which one was causing the problem so you know the next time you want to use dust me selectors to disable that add on first

Thanks. Sadly switching everything off doesn't fix the problem.

Most of the documentation is here.

    http://www.sitepoint.com/dustmeselectors/

It doesn't seem to work in latest Firefox (3.6) though as it is listed as incompatible in the add-on window.

Yes. I found the documentation earlier. It doesn't answer my question.

I'm going to attempt reverting to an earlier version of Firefox. It may not be easy.
