    Problems getting indexed

I just finished my site some time ago. And no one knows it exists (yet). And I'm having trouble adding it to search engines. I really want to get into all those bigger engines such as msn, google, yahoo and altavista...But HOW do i get to them WITHOUT paying all that money???

I know google is a crawler...but WTF does that mean?..I made my meta tags and **** but whats the **** with crawlers?? lol....what do i need to change about my site?? ..does anyone know any links to get submitted for free and without waiting 12 months? other than and those kinds...thanks alot.

First of all I find it odd a design company would use a template from JimWorld or whatever his template site is.

You can submit for free to Google, DMOZ, AltaVista, and AllTheWeb.

Then you would want to consider paying for Yahoo/LookSmart.

For a complete list of submission places check out the important thread at the top of this subforum.
