My web-hoster and MySQL - Im very new.

I believe my hoster has MySQL installed on the server. I made that assumtion by this information located on /phpinfo.php:

    mysql
    MySQL Support enabled
    Active Persistent Links 0
    Active Links 0
    Client API version 3.23.32

    Directive Local Value Master Value
    mysql.allow_persistent
    On On
    mysql.default_host
    no value no value
    mysql.default_password
    no value no value
    mysql.default_port
    no value no value
    mysql.default_socket
    no value no value
    mysql.default_user
    no value no value
    mysql.max_links
    Unlimited Unlimited
    mysql.max_persistent
    Unlimited Unlimited
Now, if its true that they DO have it installed, how would I go about creating new databases etc? Would it be possible for me to create them locally on my computer and upload them to the webhosters server/My Site? Is that how its usually done under these circumstances?

Anyways, I have submitted a support question to them, but it usually takes a day or two for the respone. I was hoping for an answer today since its my day off and all. Thx.

Do you have some kind of control panel like CPanel for your account?
