Can it Hurt? Meta key Words

    Hi All

Just a simple question: Is it possible to ruin your ranking say in Google if you have too many keywords listed in your keyword meta tag?

    Regards

I don't think that Google even pays much attention to meta tags.
You should have key word meta tags that are relative to each pages content, and don't over do them.

The only major search engine that still cares about meta keyword tags is Inktomi, and I'd be willing to bet on them dropping it soon.

In fact, on a new site I made this weekend, I'm not even using meta tags at all, neither description nor keywords. Its going to be my little proof of concept.
