    Unhappy need help with list and bullets in CSS...

    hi,
    I want to buld a navbar with the list tag, and each link in the list would have an image as a bullet, I tried to do it with dreamweaver 4.0, but the space between my custom bullet, and the text itself is too wide - how can can i reduce it?

    i also don't understand where i should put the class tag for the list - in the UL tag, in the LI tag, or create a SPAN tag between each LI??

    Thanks!

    Partial Answer...

    I'm not sure about the first question, but this should answer the second one... style can be applied to both. Collectively as an <ol> or <ul>, and individually as <li>'s.

    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Testing</title>
    <style>
    .one { font-weight:bold }
    #two { color:#ff0000 }
    </style>

    </head>

    <body>

    <ul class="one">
    <li>first</li>
    <li id="two">second</li>
    <li>third</li>
    </ul>

    </body>
    </html>
    // PS! My brain just hit a bad sector...
