Dodgey https link - help please

    Hello
I hope this is the correct group to ask...
    We own a website www.bbh.co.nz.
We were looking for a hostel that subscribes to us and found a dodgey looking link in the google search and wondered whether you could enlighten us as to what it could be and how it has happened...

Here's the process we followed to get it.
We typed a search for vagabond backpackers and got this:

BBH World travellers Accommodation New Zealand - BBH Listings ...
View Guest Reviews Make a Rating Information on Ratings. Location Map. Click here to view Google map. Map - Vagabond Backpackers ...
    https://bbh.co.nz/bbh_HostelSearch.a...etail&HostelID... - Cached

However, we don't have https on our website (apart from the administration section which is a separate entity) to any hostel searches and wondered why the searcher didn't get this link instead - which would be the normal link for all hostel info:
    http://www.bbh.co.nz/bbh_HostelSearc...l&HostelID=159

The webpage of the hostel in question is www.vagabondbackpackers.co.nz which seems to be a secure site for some odd reason.

Can anyone enlighten us as to what is happening with links and the google search function in the process? And perhaps something to do with our site??

    Thanks very much

In order to add external content into an https site, you often have to make everything https, otherwise you could get that annoying popup telling you there are unsecure items on page...
    Perhaps they did that?
Why not just do a 301 permanent redirect on your site from the https to the http location, then google will eventually pick it up and take note!
