configuring postgre with win2k

ok since mysql database isn't working on my machine anymore, i've decided to switch to postgre. my question is, what drivers do i need in order to get postgre to work? also where do i get the drivers. last question how do i go about configuring postgre so i can get it up and running on the first try.

Installing postgresql on Win32 is not as simple as mysql.
That is because postgresql is not supported for win32, it's in beta actually.

Our Win32 version is in Beta and will be released shortly. Our hope is to give the Win32 users incentives to test deployments before moving to one of our Unix-supported platforms.

Actually it's possible to use postgresql with win32.

When I installed MySQL on a win2k machine I just followed the intallation tutorial.
So read it!

Go for it, but just to try it out - you need to run it on a *nix box for any real application.

mysql is a toy database, therefore it runs on a toy os....windows.
