Best methods to get reciprocal links

    Hi,

Thought to pick your marketing brains for the best ways to gain link popularity to a grief counseling web site.

Doing a search for possible reciprocal links is very time consuming and didn't bear much fruit.

Writing articles to targeted ezines is all I could think of that would be more fruitful.

Other thoughts and strategies would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Herman

Who needs reciprocal links? People always assume that its too hard to get unreciprocated links, but its not. If you have a good site people will link to you regardless if you link back or not.

Additionally there are alot of small directories out there that you can submit to.

Do searches on google for your keywords and "add url" or "add link" this will help you find pages where you can submit your site.

You can also search on Google for your desired keywords, see which site comes up first, and check which sites link to them.

What you say is true aspen, but getting reciprocal link is key in some categories of websites and other people may not link to you unless you give them a link in return. Most of my traffic comes through link partners.

The best way is to write alot of e-mail asking other sites and to beg, and beg those really popular sites to link to you.

Writing articles can be a good source of traffic and return links. It worked well for some of my sites. And if you get into big publications, you can strike gold!
