    Hide unhide posts

    A time back sitepoint had the functionality to hide messages after you read them and then again unhide them without renewing the complete page... I'm pretty sure this was done with javascript and / or dhtml My question is how do I do something like this???

    Kind regards,

    Not really sure what you mean but are you referring to the hiding/unhiding of divs/layers?

    You can do this using DHTML and changing the styles of the divs/layers via their IDs.

    depends - just query and set the objects display:

    (using a nextSibling model)

    this.nextSibling.style.display=(this.nextSibling.style.display=='')?'none':'';
