i like the layout, not sure on the sub header font.
you have a nice web layout.i think you should use a small font for the titles, the sidebar occupies a large space, and the images are too small,..well anyway it only needs a little enhancing.
Overall, good job. However, I don't really like the shadow under the word "Planet."
I like your layout very much. Its clean and nice.
But I dislike the shadow under the dates and the word "planet".
Also, Left and Right arrows are not linked to anything.

This is what I would do. 1. Remove all shadows from ALL elements. 2. Increase contrast with the fonts (titles and paragraphs) Take a step back and assess how it looks. Here's good guideline I would use, I would look at this and figure out what are all the things I can remove to make it better - I will not ponder ADDING anything to improve it. The only thing I will add is contrast to the text. Simplify.
Wow. Very nice clean layout.
My only thoughts are the high visibility greens detract from your content titles. Perhaps you need to add more strength to the title font of have different less vibrant greens for less important content.
I would agree that the drop shadow on the word planet doesnt work for me. But thats a personal opinion.
Finally I would say that the word "Green" as part of "Green planet" could do with a little breathing space between it and the top dark banner.

My suggestion would be the word Planet in your website title remove the shadow effect or maybe give the font a different color then the shadow color because the shadow makes the word appear a bit blurry and hard to read.
Other then that I think the layout and images used work well on your site
I am a vegetarian and care deeply about protecting animals and our planet so I love to see sites like yours!
I think you have a great site here and don't really see anything wrong with it except maybe you could shorten the length of the page? I know many people don't like to scroll too much.. otherwise, I think you have done a really good job!

-when I use the links home about contact, the links are displayed in a font quite large for a brief second before it snaps to the size view at
- the text boxes like get green and living green need more padding so the text does not touch the edges of the text boxes
- the header text, Green Planet, if this web site is about green, why is the Green Planet text not green to follow the theme of being green
- the text on the about and contact us page gets lost between the 2 adds. I had to look close to see that it was not part of the ads
- I find the spinning favicon a bit distracting
- the navigation is nice and easy to follow
- i like the bread crumb navigation
- layout seems nice with plenty of white space

Really like this site.
It's got a great layout with some really interesting elements to it.
My only criticism is that it's a very long page, and you get a bit lost further down.
Otherwise top work!
Its a good site. my suggestions are:
1) I would remove or modify the drop shadow under the "planet" in the logo
2) I would use a darker color for the font, there is not enough contrast right now

awesome color scheme. Awesome layout. the layout is very clean. The text is very hard to read. I would recommend making it a thicker font or a darker one.

Here's what I would offer:
a. On your logo, the word Green is crowded against the upper header. Delete shadow on the word Planet. Consider increasing font size of both.
b. The green frame on your lead-in images is distracting. Similarly, the font (orange background?) of your dates are blurred.
c. Consider aligning the bottom edge of the lead-in images with the lead in story. I would also delete the underlying shadow of the box, or extend it to include the images as a single box. Consider darkening the pressed font to increase legibility.
d. On your Recent items, I'm using FF and your large left hand arrow (from your recent items) is floating in the middle of your page. The word emissions runs into its image.
e. On Recent Posts, consider aligning the read more buttons. They appear disjointed otherwise. You have lines around the individual posts that are broken, missing, and unaligned in various areas. The overall sense is that it is disjointed. Again, the blurred date font.
f. The content in your right hand column crowds up against the line that separates the Recent Posts from the column. Need some spacing, and I would consider a darker line to delineate it.
g. The placement of your ads in your About page and your Contact page are distracting.
h. Consider including a form in your Contact page.
Your site can present itself as a clean, well organized layout with some quick fixes.
Great site layout and the typography suits the purpose very well. Colours are spot-on and the website is aesthetically pleasing. So nice work! Love the navigation and the header too.
Perhaps make the article headers contrast a little more and maybe remove the shadow from 'Planet'. I'm sure these have been suggested, but keep up the good work
I really like the clean layout and the use of green on the headings really makes things pop. You have spaced out the different areas of the site really well, giving things space to breath and not intimidating any visitors to the site.
I think there is way to much content on the homepage, the homepage should be a window into the site, and point visitors in the right direction to discover the information they are looking for. It seems like all the content in the site is being displayed on the home page, you even repeat the content in your main intro area a little further down the page, under "recent posts", and twice more.
Maybe you could show a few recent posts on the home page, and then have a "see more" link to a page with more recent posts on there.
I think the main intro section of the site should explain what the site is about, rather then showcase the latest post. As im unsure what the site is actually about. The images next to the intro section with dates next to them are also very cryptic! What are they? Why are they there? Needs clarification.
We then have the recent info from green alerts, green ideas and green news. But im not sure what green alerts, green ideas and green news is?
TO be fair I think the layout and design is great and is done really well, but the sites purpose needs to be far clearer, and the content needs to be trimmed down on the home page, and far more focussed and clear.

I think your site right off the bat caught my attention. As soon as you visit you are instantly attracted to what's going on. The first thing I noticed was your color choices. Great theme, with white and green throughout the whole page. It clearly reflects the scope of your site and it goes well with the flow.
Secondly you have lots of content on the front page so users don't have to click to go deeper and deeper into your website in order to get more info. It's right there in front of your face and I think the approach works well.
Overall you did a good job, posted a lot of content to keep people busy for hours and you even added a visitor map which is awesome because it reinforces the attitude of just about any environmentally aware group which is that we all need to be more aware of our surroundings and other people. Now you can see where people who visit this site come from.
Awesome job for sure! My suggestions to you are to add some kind of PHP comment box or email form on the contact us page, and add some videos on the about page.

Only thing i would change is the grey read more boxes. Love the site.
Liked the site, some of the stuff on the first page was redundant (artical files).
