Google ranking scheme??

I am interested in knowing whats the ranking criteria of google or any other search engine? I would be really pleased if you give me answers in points in decreasing order of importance

The only ones that have such knowledge are those on the "inside" eg. Google employees. And they aren't talking.

You can find what little is known by checking the Articles and Sticky threads here at SitePoint.

The rest is only hearsay and speculation, of which there are countless threads full of dubious information already.

Sorry, but there really doesn't need to be another thread discussing what is impossible to discuss accurately.
